Getting Started as a Partner

Apply once, get approved, start referring

The Accountant Partner Program is for accountants and bookkeepers who want to refer their clients to illico Book.

Apply

Submit your application at illicobook.com/partners.html — full name, firm, how you plan to promote illico Book, and your preferred payment method.

Get reviewed

Applications are typically reviewed within 1–2 business days. You'll be notified once approved.

Get your referral link

Once approved, log in and go to your Accountant Hub — your personal referral link and code are ready immediately.

Start referring

Share your link with clients. When someone signs up through it and converts to a paid plan, you start earning.

How You're Paid

30% for 6 months after the free trial, then 10% for as long as the client pays

You earn a percentage of what each client you referred actually pays. Clients start with a 3-month free trial, which earns nothing. From their first payment, you earn 30% of every payment for 6 months, then 10% for as long as they stay a paying customer.

ℹ️ How the 6 months are counted. The 6 months run by the calendar from the client's first payment, right after the free trial ends. A month without a payment earns nothing and is not added back at the end. A client who never pays earns no commission. If the client changes plans, your commission follows the price they actually pay.
ℹ️ When you're paid. Commission is calculated on the amount the client actually paid, after any discount code. Each commission is confirmed 30 days after the client's payment, in case of refunds or chargebacks. Confirmed commissions are paid monthly once your balance reaches $25; a smaller balance rolls over to the next month.
💡 Good to know. One client, one commission: if two people referred the same client, it goes to the person whose link the client used first. Clients you referred before October 10, 2026 stay on the terms you joined under. Partners in the United States are asked for a W-9 form before their first payout; those paid $600 or more in a year receive a Form 1099.

💡 Tip: Referred signups and converted-to-paid are two different numbers — someone can sign up through your link on the free plan and not generate commission until they actually upgrade.

Payment Methods

How your commission actually reaches you

Your preferred payment method (PayPal, bank transfer, Mobile Money, or other) is collected when you apply or when your account is set up, and shown to illico Book's team for processing payouts.
